"LOVE YOUR BODY & IMPROVE YOUR LIFE!"™
Revolutionize Your 2009 Fitness Program

As you review your successes in 2008, and perhaps contemplate the past year’s shortcomings, it is the perfect time to re-evaluate your fitness and wellness objectives to ensure they are a little more realistic and attainable in the New Year!  Why were you not able to attain your 2007 goals? Perhaps were off to a good start and then got a little lazy? Was it too much stress at work? It’s always easy to blame your weight fluctuations on the food you kept in the house for the kids, or, perhaps your eating binges were caused by a difficult family loss you may have suffered. Whatever the cause, the fact is there will always be obstacles, throughout each year, that challenge us to reach your goals in achieving optimal wellness. For each one of us, our goals are personal and ever-changing.

Statistics tell it all. Countless studies show that Americans are in worse shape than ever! According to the Annals of Internal Medicine, people who are 30 pounds or more above their ideal weight will, on average, die up to seven years early. CNN reports that an obese 20 year old will live 13 years less than a person who stays within a the desired weight. The U.S. General Surgeon Says obesity is as deadly as smoking. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), more than half of the American Adult population is overweight or obese and approximately 300,000 Americans die of health problems related to obesity each year- second only to cigarettes as a leading preventable lifestyle related cause of death. You can help change these statistics! According to the American Obesity Association (AOA), approximately 127 million adults in the U.S. are overweight, 60 million are obese and 9 million are severely obese. Obesity is the 2nd leading cause of unnecessary deaths in the U.S. A lack of exercise can lead to Chronic Back Pain, Osteoporosis, Depression and Poor Self Esteem, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Cardiovascular Disease, and some cancers

More than half of our population is overweight. In a recent USA Today article, Dr. Hugh D. Allen of Columbia Children's Hospital stated that 30 million of the 80 million kids alive today will die of heart disease as adults, unless current trends change. bbikers bling, Bikers Bling online, bikers bling, swarovski crystals, motorcycle bling,

onsider the biggest prices you have paid or may eventually pay for being in the shape you are in? What excuses have you given yourself over the years that have brought you to this website?  What would be the greatest benefits of changing your way of exercising and eating to enhance your quality of life?
Although you cannot change your basic genetic makeup, you can work hard to take your body to its full potential, regardless of genetic propensity. A well-balanced program of exercise and nutrition are the cornerstones of a healthy lifestyle. A s
tudy published in the Journal of Sport & Exercise Psychology indicates that people, new to exercise, or who haven't exercised in a while perform better with the help of an expert, such as a personal fitness trainer. Motivation and accountability is key!

W
hat is FITNESS?
According to the International Sports Sciences Association, fitness is:

"The state of well-being consisting of  optimum levels of strength, flexibility,
weight control, cardiovascular capacity and positive physical and mental health
behaviors that prepare a person to participate fully in life, to be free from
controllable health risk factors and to achieve physical objectives consistent
with his/her potential."

What is Physical Wellness?
Physical wellness encompasses much more than following a diet or working out in the gym. Expanding your knowledge about your lifestyle, good nutrition and physical activity are all components of physical wellness. Physical wellness is also includes building endurance, flexibility, physical strength and cardiovascular health. It is about being aware of your body, understanding the changes it undergoes and its physical needs throughout the life cycle. Physical wellness includes awareness of the affects of potentially detrimental behaviors such as the use of tobacco, drugs and excessive alcohol, and the impact of our dietary habits and food choices. Physical wellness is one aspect of the Wellness Wheel.
